White faces anxious wait
May 22 2008
England prop Julian White could miss the Guinness Premiership Final after being cited for alleged foul play.
The Leicester forward faces a Rugby Football Union disciplinary hearing in Bristol next Tuesday - four days before Tigers' Twickenham appointment with Wasps.
White has been reported by the independent citing officer and charged with an alleged stamping offence during Leicester's play-off victory over Gloucester at Kingsholm last weekend.
A three-man RFU panel will be chaired by Christopher Quinlan, assisted by Mike Curling and John Doubleday.
White started the Gloucester game, which Leicester won 26-25 thanks to an injury time drop-goal by fly-half Andy Goode.
