Head man: Coetzee will take charge of Western Province this season

Allister Coetzee has been appointed Head Coach of Western Province for the coming Currie Cup season.

Coetzee, the former Springboks back-line coach and current Stormers assistant coach, will replace Gary Gold. Gold in turn is joining the Springbok coaching team under Peter de Villiers.

Western Province's Director of Rugby and Stormers coach Rassie Erasmus was the man behind Coetzee's appointment.

Erasmus' role as director includes the head coaching role of the Stormers as well as being involved in all the coaching structures within the Western Province set-up.
