Bosman joins Springbok injury list

May 26 2008

Homeward bound: Meyer Bosman

Springbok centre Meyer Bosman has suffered a grade two hamstring tear, forcing him to return home from the Springbok training camp in Somerset West.

The injury occurred during Saturday's training session at the Danie Craven Stadium in Stellenbosch.

Bosman went for a scan on Monday where the initial diagnosis by the Bok medical team was confirmed.

He will therefore be unavailable for selection for the Incoming Tour internationals against Wales and Italy.

The news is a blow as the camp that has already seen Heini Adams, Jaque Fourie, Zane Kirchner, Wikus van Heerden, Duanne Vermeulen, and Schalk Burger hobble home.
