Troubled Ellis heading for Germany
September 29 2008
Leicester are considering sending scrum-half Harry Ellis abroad to see a leading specialist regarding knee concerns.
The England international returned to rugby action in March following a long stint on the sidelines recovering from damaged anterior cruciate ligaments.
However, according to a report in The Times newspaper, the Tigers are seriously concerned over Ellis' knee soreness complaints and are looking into the scrum-half meeting with Hans Müller-Wohlfarth, who has treated a host of big-name footballing stars.
Ellis missed his side's two most recent fixtures against Wasps and Worcester due to the problem, with Frenchman Julien Dupuy filling in at the base.
