Perpignan lose Meyer

Steven Meyer: Injured

Perpignan's South African fly-half Steve Meyer will be out for at least two months after undergoing an operation on a dislocated shoulder, the Catalan club said Tuesday.

Meyer sustained the injury during Perpignan's 5-3 victory over Montpellier on September 20, and underwent surgery on Monday.

The Catalans have had a good start to the season, and are sitting handily in fifth, but injuries undermined their campaign last season, and they will be hoping the same does not happen again.
