Ex Bok World Cup champs hospitalised
June 29 2009
Joost van der Westhuizen, the former Springbok great, was admitted to a Johannesburg hospital on Saturday following a reported collapse at his home.
The legendary scrum-half's publicist Bridget van Oerle could not confirm the reasons for the collapse but suggested that talk of a heart attack or stroke are mere speculation.
This follows a serious car accident involving former Bok flanker Ruben Kruger earlier on Saturday in Pretoria. Kruger is in a critical condition after losing control of his vehicle and colliding with a number of cars.
