Bishop set for switch to Sale?

Sale could be on the verge of signing David Bishop after the English club confirmed the Ospreys player is training with them in Carrington.

The injury-plagued centre has been largely sidelined from rugby over the past few seasons since representing Wales at U18 and U21 level.

But Sharks Director of Rugby, Kingsley Jones, hopes that a possible fresh start at the Edgeley Park outfit could revitalise his delayed career.

"We have invited David to train with us. David has played at several levels for Wales including U21's but has suffered from injuries over the last couple of seasons," said Jones.

"He is looking for a fresh start and if he does well with us we may sit down and talk to him about signing."
