Sivivatu re-signs at Waikato
August 12 2009
Sitiveni Sivivatu's signature to a contract extension was just one of a number of key signings Waikato made on Wednesday.
All Blacks Richard Kahui, Stephen Donald, Liam Messam and Aled de Malmanche, and key Super 14 players Toby Lynn and Romana Graham also put pen to paper with the province. All are noe committed until the end of 2011.
"It is great news for our province to have key players staying in the region," said Waikato Rugby Union Chief Executive Graham Bowen.
"We are a provincial union that prides itself on nurturing its players and progressing their rugby careers to the highest levels.
"This group of players is critical to Waikato rugby, the Chiefs and the New Zealand Rugby Union. It is pleasing to see a number of them having come through the Waikato academy and talent identification programmes."
