France squad retained despite injuries
February 08 2010
France have named the same 23 players that travelled to Scotland for Saturday's Six Nations clash with Ireland despite injury concerns over three players.
Veteran wing Aurélien Rougerie is of most concern after he was forced from the pitch at Murrayfield with sprained neck. Prop Luc Ducalcon and wing Benjamin Fall also picked up knocks.
After Sunday's victory over Scotland, Head Coach Marc Lièvremont indicated that - injuries permitting - he would retain the same squad of 23 players for the showdown with the defending champions in Paris.
The French staff confirmed that decision early on Monday although the trio will have to undergo tests as soon as they arrive in Paris.
