Four cited in Heineken Cup

Four players are due to appear before independent Disciplinary Committees on Thursday in London following Heineken Cup citings from Round Two.
Ospreys prop Paul James has been cited for an alleged strike with the arm against Perpignan's Marius Tincu in contravention of Law 10.4 (a).
Law 10.4 (a) - Punching or striking: A player must not strike an opponent with the fist or arm, including the elbow, shoulder, head or knee(s).
All the independent Disciplinary Committee will be chaired by HHJ Jeff Blackett (England) and also comprise of Dr Barry O'Driscoll (Ireland) and Mr Robert Horner (England).
Meanwhile, Tincu has been cited for alleged contact with the eye/eye area of Ospreys player James in contravention of Law 10.4 (k).
Law 10.4 (k) - Acts contrary to good sportsmanship.
Fellow Perpignan player and replacement hooker Guilhem Guirado is also up before the committee for alleged contact with the eye/eye area of Ospreys lock Ian Gough in contravention of Law 10.4 (k).

An alleged incident also took place in Italy in the match between Treviso and Leicester on Saturday. Centre Benjamin de Jager has been cited for an alleged strike with his head of opposing number eight Jordan Crane in contravention of Law 10.4 (a).
