Lineen: Opportunity knocking

Glasgow Head Coach Sean Lineen is relishing the challenge of 2009/10's Heineken Cup after being handed a favourable draw.

The Warriors were pitted against Biarritz, Gloucester and the Dragons in Pool Two of the tournament in Tuesday's draw at the Stade de France.

And Lineen is now looking to get off to a strong start after a disappointing opening to last year's competition, in which they defeated Toulouse away from home in January.

"The draw presents a great opportunity for us," he said after the draw.

"The players are a year older now and it really gets the juices flowing when you see the quality of the teams we have been drawn against.

"Those two opening defeats last year really took the wind out of our sails so I'm really excited about going in and making our mark in next year's competition. Bring it on."
