Immediate impact: Hamilton praises team-mates

New Leicester back Scott Hamilton says his new team-mates have helped him settle quickly into life at Welford Road.

The consistent 28-year-old, who made his Tigers debut at full-back in Heyneke Meyer side's 27-14 win over Harlequins, was in fine form on Saturday - made even more impressive seeing as he'd only taken part in three days training following his move from Canterbury.

"The guys have been really helpful," Hamilton said, speaking to the club's official website.

"It's pretty tough coming in and trying to learn a whole new play book and all of the individual moves, not to mention the rules that have changed for me, so hopefully it will keep on getting better.

"I really enjoyed the occasion. It was great to be out there and the crowd was awesome."
