Leaving loosehead: Nick Lloyd

Saracens have announced that long-serving loosehead Nick Lloyd will leave the Guinness Premiership club after five years at Vicarage Road.

The 32-year-old, who has played for both Scotland and England Saxons in the Churchill Cup over recent campaigns, departs Watford in preparation for 2009/10.

Director of Rugby, Brendan Venter, has already been busy during the off-season with the forward signings of Ernst Joubert, Rhys Gill, Schalk Brits, Ethienne Reynecke, Richard Skuse, Carlos Nieto and Frik Venter.

In a brief statement, Saracens thanked Lloyd for his service to the club and wished him well for the future.
