Brive back joins Newcastle

Newcastle Falcons have announced the arrival of Chris Micklewood, who joins from French club Brive ahead of their upcoming campaign.
The 22-year-old former South Africa U18 international joins in a two-year contract, and can play full-back, fly-half or centre.
A product of the Natal Sharks Academy, the English-qualified Micklewood also provides another goal-kicking option for the Falcons, having spent the past season in the Top 14.
"Chris's arrival increases our options in a number of positions," said Director of Rugby, Steve Bates.
"He is a player we have been aware of for some time, he has great versatility and will add to our back-line depth as well as our goal-kicking options."
