Cipriani snaps at snapper - allegedly

Cipriani: What goes on tour...

England star Danny Cipriani might be on lowly bench-warming duty for the England Saxons in the United States but he's still making news.

Depressingly it's for all the wrong reasons once again.

Britain's News of the World reports that the mercurial Wasps playmaker did not take kindly to being photographed as he left a "show bar" in Glendale, Colorado and confronted the assembled paparazzi.

The newspaper alleges that Cipriani man-handled a snapper whilst his "cronies" removed the memory card from his camera and disposed of it.

Police were reportedly called to the scene, but the less-than-martial demeanour of the cops in the surviving photographs makes one wonder whether the paper made a meal out of its encounter with "the David Beckham of English rugby".

"You do not mind being snapped coming out of The Ivy restaurant in London with girlfriend Kelly Brook so you have to expect to attract interest in other places," sermonised the newspaper.

Indeed. But who wouldn't object to being photographed leaving a dive named 'Shotgun Willie's', the self-styled home of the "best breast of the west"?
