January 19 2010

Powerful Warriors centre Greg King

Worcester Warriors have announced the signing of a new two-year deal with talented young centre Greg King.

King, who is a product of the Warriors Academy and has represented England at all age levels will be at the club until at least 2012.

King is widely tipped to rise through the ranks steadily. The strong running 21-year old made his debut in April 2009 and has impressed with powerful performances at the start of the new season.

"It's great news that Greg has signed up for two more years at the club," said Director of Rugby Mike Ruddock, speaking to the club's official website.

"He is a hard working and hard running centre with a huge amount of potential to develop into a very strong candidate for a starting berth at the club over a longer period.

"Greg showed his maturity in the first game of the season against Northampton Saints when he performed admirably and underlined his potential that day with a very solid display."
