Broken arm sidelines Tuilagi
January 26 2010
Sale have been dealt a double injury blow following their Heineken Cup exit after Andy Tuilagi and Luke Abraham were both ruled out injured.
Tuilagi suffered a broken arm during the Pool Five loss to Toulouse two days ago, while Abraham was left with a fractured jaw in the same game.
The powerful centre's injury is in the same place that he broke his arm playing for Samoa during the November Tests earlier this season.
There is no indication at this stage how long Tuilagi and Abraham will be sidelined for but the news comes as a huge negative for Director of Rugby Kingsley Jones.
"That just about puts the icing on it for us," he said.
"To pick up two bad injuries like these, as well as going out of Europe, is not great at all."
