Mitchell out of Subiaco clash
May 16 2008
Winger Drew Mitchell has been ruled out of Friday's Super 14 clash with the Brumbies at Subiaco Oval with an ankle injury.
Mitchell was injured after a heavy collision with team-mate David Pocock during the team's final training session on Thursday.
An MRI scan confirmed the worst for the Wallabies veteran, who will be out of action for between four and six weeks.
Haig Sare has been called into the starting line-up to replace the injured 24-year-old, while Junior Pelesasa is a surprise addition to the reserves bench after missing the entire season following knee surgery late last year.
