A TESTING tournament for Heyneke Meyer’s new Springboks saw them ultimately finish in third spot, their draw with Argentina earlier in the tournament keeping them out of second place. It is no secret that South Africa are rebuilding after the golden generation that captured the Rugby World Cup in 2007 departed last Autumn for Japan, France and retirement. HEYNEKE MEYER has selected the same side that defeated Australia last weekend in Pretoria to face New Zealand in Soweto this Saturday.

SOUTH AFRICAN No.8 Josh Strauss has signed a three-year contract with Glasgow. Strauss has pledged his services to the Warriors until at least the end of May 2015, subject to medical and visa, and is due to arrive in the next fortnight.
