James Haskell has become embroiled in a Twitter spat with former England flanker Neil Back.

The fallout from England’s World Cup exit appears to be getting out of hand with James Haskell engaged in an angry online row with World Cup winner Neil Back.

On the same day that news emerged of a spat between Mike Catt and Danny Cipriani, Haskell responded to Back over criticism for walking around with a selfie stick before the tournament opener against Fiji.

Haskell, who will start for England against Uruguay on Saturday, has since deleted his tweets, where he criticised Back for being out of touch with the game.

He said: “I wasn’t even playing! You’re so old and out of touch your eyes dont work. I hope your book sales go better than your coaching.”

Haskell has since deleted his tweets.
