Thierry Dusatoir and Imanol Harinordoquy model the 2011 France Kit

It certainly is the week for new rugby kits as World Cup fever starts to build across the globe. The home kit is a combination of both royal and dark blue, inspired by the jerseys worn by the French Rugby team for two great victories over the All Blacks in 1999 and 2007. In addition, both kits feature the motif ‘France’ on the inside of the shirts, a tricolour trim and a 3D grip zone on the chest to enhance ball grip.

Meanwhile the new change kit is white and sky blue, using the same asymmetric blending of colours as the home kit to create a shirt that is sleek in its design.

The jerseys are engineered to improve athlete performance; with an innovative tight fit design to aid movement and Nike Dri-FIT technology to keep players cool and comfortable on-pitch. The design inspiration celebrates French rugby heritage whilst being modern in style.

The complete collection will be available to buy from 1st August 2011 and fans can pre-order from today.  Visit www.nikestore.com/rugby
