Six Nations Predictions Competition – week three
Posted 815 days ago
SCOTLAND DISAPPOINTED themselves and almost all of the contestants in the Rugby World Six Nations Predictions competition when they lost to Ireland on Sunday. Of the nine coaches and pundits taking part in the contest, only former Ireland hooker Keith Wood predicted a victory for his nation at Murrayfield.
Everyone called the other two results correctly, which means the Wood is now tied for the lead with Rugby World editor Paul Morgan – both men having called eight of the first nine matches correctly. Breathing down their necks in third spot with seven right answers is former Wales scrum-half Robert Jones.
With two rounds to go, there are six more points up for grabs and as Morgan, Wood and Jones have predicted different winners to the Wales v Ireland and Scotland v Italy matches, the imaginary winner’s trophy is still up for grabs!Like Rugby World?
