Doncaster Knights Director of Rugby Brett Davey brings back Back Row player Adam Kettle after a season at Clifton Lane, completing his squad of 27 players.

Liverpool born Kettle, who has also played at this level for Bedford and Plymouth Albion, put pen to paper on a deal to that will see him once again wear the Knights jersey which will be a popular choice with fans.

“ With Adam Kettle the advantage again is that I know the player and the man, and with what we have put together this season you can see how the attacking and defensive capability of a player like Adam fits into the template of what we are attempting to build” Davey told us.

“The back row combination of Kettle and Planchant  was a potent one previously for the Knights, if you add that to the likes of Zack Farivarz, Andy Boyde, Latuu Makaafi and new signing Michael Noone you can see the tactical variety of an outstanding group of players.  I want to be able to say that no matter what the conditions or opposition we have the right tools for the job, and that goes for all positions.”

The Knights are back in pre season training in less than a week, June the 14th sees them return to Castle Park to begin the long process of getting back to match fitness after the break.
