Two days before the kick-off of the HSBC Sevens World Series 2011/12 at the Gold Coast Sevens, players from defending Series champions New Zealand, tournament hosts Australia and fellow challengers USA and France took to the surf in the first ‘Sevens: Around the World’ challenge.

Solomon King (NZ), Jesse Parahi (AUS), Jean-Baptiste Gobelet (FRA) and Peter Tiberio (USA) teamed up for a lesson before taking to the waves on the stunning Gold Coast.

Over the coming season players from all the Sevens teams participating on the World Series will be given the chance to take part in the ‘Sevens: Around the World’ challenges in the lead-up to the nine rounds.
