Kooga Blitz SG review

For any young rugby players who are looking for a reasonably priced boot to help them in their progression and development as a forward, the Kooga Blitz is an excellent choice.

Despite it’s heavy appearance, the Kooga Blitz is surprisingly light weight for a forwards boot and features a traditional eight stud pattern on the sole that is favoured by the best tight-five forwards in the game.

The upper is an EVX+ synthetic material that is designed to be lightweight, breathable yet highly durable making this boot an ideal option for set piece play.

The ISO Kage moulded heel counter eliminates any worries about your heel slipping out whilst you scrum whilst also providing unwavering support and protection whilst in the heat of battle.

The Kooga Blitz has more of a traditional design, being black in colour and featuring a central lacing system with a fold over tongue, providing a classic yet aesthetically pleasing look.

The eight stud sole pattern offers excellent traction and hold in the ground whilst in a ruck, maul or scrum, and the interchangeable aluminium studs can be easily changed or replaced.

Inside is a silicon printed ISO Quad grippy sock liner, which minimizes any unwanted movement of your foot in the boot to enhance stability and comfort.

The Kooga Blitz SG boots are an excellent option as a more affordable forwards’ boot, combining strength and durability with flexibility and lightweight to provide all all round excellent choice of footwear.
