Under Armour ClutchFit Force review

Price as reviewed:

Under Armour ClutchFit Force boots have been worn by some of rugby’s biggest names including Leigh Halfpenny, Jamie Roberts and Drew Mitchell.

The first thing you will notice about these boots when you slip them on is how incredibly light they are. Under Armour call it the ‘second skin’ feel.

This unique style of rugby boot from Under Armour combines comfort, ball control and stability all in one to come up with one of the most well rounded boots on the market.

The synthetic microfibre upper of the ClutchFit Force has two way stretch capabilities that enable it to re-shape to the contours of your foot perfectly to give a beautifully natural feel to rival even the softest kangaroo leather rugby boots.

The more traditional central lacing system also contributes to the overall generous fit of the boot as it wraps around your foot to provide ultimate comfort.

Traction and grip on the ground will not be a worry with the Under Armour ClutchFit Force boots. The state of the art sole plate moves in conjunction with your foot in order to provide explosive pressure as well as maintaining a firm bite into the ground.

The solid heel base of the ClutchFit Force provides an exceptional lockdown feeling that contributes to the overall stability of the boot.

Although lightweight, the durability of these boots cannot be faltered and an investment in a pair of Under Armour ClutchFit Force boots will guarantee you value for money.

Verdict

Caters for the flyer and few others. Wear these if you are a flash back with no kicking responsibilities and a desire to stand out
