THIS IS a fantastic skills-enhancing game that John Fletcher, England’s U17 and U18 head coach, uses in a lot of his training sessions. Most coaches discourage, or even ban, kicking during a game of touch rugby – but in Fletch’s version, players HAVE to kick! “Everybody loves to see a good pass or a good run, but I get as much pleasure seeing a good kick that leads to a score,” he says.
