London Irish is delighted announce that back row forward Edward Siggery will be joining the Exiles next season.

Siggery, who is currently away at the Junior World Championships with the Wales U20 side, has come up through the ranks at the Scarlets Academy. The 6ft 3in, 16st flanker has also won caps for Wales at U16 and U18 level.

A physical and mobile player, Edward has gained valuable experience playing in the Welsh Premiership over the last 18 months, turning out for the Scarlets three regional three clubs, Llanelli, Carmarthen Quins, Llandovery and more recently Cardiff Blues region, Pontypridd.

Commenting on his decision to move to London Irish Edward Siggery said: “Moving to London Irish is a positive step for me. Quite a few of the young lads at the club made a big impact last season and I hope to do the same when I join next season.”

London Irish coach Neal Hatley said: “Ed will be a good addition to our squad for next season. The competitive rugby he has played in the Welsh Premiership will prepare him for the step up to Aviva Premiership rugby.”
