Sinclair will stay in the premiership for another year

London Irish is delighted to confirm Canadian international Jebb Sinclair has signed a one year contract extension with the club.

Sinclair joined the Exiles in October 2011 from Canadian side Atlantic Rock, on the back of a superb Churchill Cup and Rugby World Cup where he was an outstanding performer for Canada.

The 6’4′ and 16 and a half stones versatile forward, who is capable of playing in the second row, blindside flanker and number 8, has made seven appearances for the club this season playing the majority of his rugby at number 8. Sinclair has missed a part of the season with a thumb injury but is now back and available for selection.

Jebb Sinclair said: “Unfortunately my playing time has been limited this season due to international commitments and injury. However, there is a great togetherness around the squad and I enjoy playing and training with the guys.  I’m really looking forward to next season and a chance to get a full pre-season under my belt”.

London Irish head coach Toby Booth said: “Jebb has bought plenty of physicality to our pack and his work rate around the park is of a high standard. He offers another lineout option and is a strong ball carrier.”
