After a successful start to the season which included a record home attendance against Ulster, Connacht Rugby are offering fans a special offer on ticket prices for their two home games in October. French highfliers, Bayonne, are the first visitors to the Sportsground on Friday the 15th. The Basque club will come to Galway full of confidence having beaten Heineken cup sides Toulon and Clermont Auvergne so far this season, while Leinster travel West on the 23rd in search of their first Sportsground victory since 2008. These are two very important games for Connacht who are unbeaten in competitive games at home this season. A large credit for this has to go to the passionate supporters who created a memorable atmosphere that encouraged the team to end their loosing streak at home to Ulster. According to Connacht and Ireland fullback Gavin Duffy, The team and management cannot overstate the impact a large enthusiastic crowd makes to the players on the pitch. “It gives us the lift that helps us make the extra tackle or gives us the extra push to get across the try-line.”

Fans can avail of a special offer on tickets that cover both games for only €35 for an adult, €25 for a student, OAP or unwaged, and € for a child over 12. As usual children under 12 are free if accompanied by an adult. Tickets are available at the Connacht Rugby office in the Sportsground, or online via www.connachtrugby.ieGavin Duffy .
