NOTTINGHAM Director of Rugby Glenn Delaney is hoping for a massive response from fans ahead of this Friday’s clash with Magners League titans Munster.

The evening British and Irish Cup spectacle, which kicks off at 7.45pm, has already attracted a record smashing 500 corporate guests.

Now the kiwi is hoping fans will cram into Meadow Lane to support the Green and Whites quest for the cup against one of the Europe’s biggest clubs.

Echoing the words of Nottingham Chief Executive Simon Beatham who has heralded the response from the City of Nottingham, Delaney said:”We’ve had already had a staggering reaction to this match.

“Munster are one of the biggest names in rugby, having them play here at Meadow Lane will certainly be a brilliant games for fans and we’re hopeful of a getting a very good crowd in to witness the action.

“The game also provides a brilliant opportunity for people who may not have seen Nottingham Rugby before to come and enjoy a great evening of action.”

The club is offering a host of advanced purchase ticket offers, allowing season ticket holders to buy 2 for £20, the general public to buy 4 for £45 and students 2 for £10.
