Whenever football is on the telly, you’ll hear rugby fans scoffing at the players’ antics. So perhaps in an effort to finally ask which is better, football or rugby, the lads at Saracens take a series of challenges from the some of the stars from Arsenal. Then it’s the soccer players’ turn to take some tests…

Wojciech Szczesny, Olivier Giroud and Per Mertersacker take on Kelly Brown, Chris Wyles and David Strettle take to the training paddock for this one – look out for the beautiful use of headgear by the big German defender Mertersacker!

So in the first challenge its keepy uppy, with the footballers using a rugby ball and the rugby fellas using the football. You may have thought that out of the boys from the Aviva Premiership, England-capped winger Strettle would be the likeliest to top the keepy uppy chart, but it was USA Eagle Wyles who came out on top.

That’s the first video, though. The second one, below, is all about aerial ability. The Arsenal players have to field high balls, while the Sarries have to get on the end of a few corners. Who comes out best from these challenges? You’ll have to take a look for yourself!
