Another enthralling World Cup encounter saw Fiji scoring seven tries in all and dominating proceedings. Nemia Kenatale and Leone Nakarawa, helped the Pacific Islanders gain a healthy 26-10 lead at half-time, earning a bonus point before the break. Fiji once again displayed their free-flowing and free-spirited game producing moments of attacking flair but at times coupled with defensive lapses too. However Tevita Cavubati, Kini Murimurivalu and Nemani Nadolo crossed in the final 20 minutes to give the Pacific Islanders their first win at this World Cup.
Uruguay scored their first try of the World Cup and this try was a rather special one. The last time Uruguay crossed the whitewash at the World Cup was in Brisbane back in 2003, 12 years ago, when current coach Pablo Lemoine burst through England‘s Andy Gomarsall during a 111-13 mauling.
