Stuck in the box: Read's still out with a rib injury and will be part of the coaching staff

THE CRUSADERS team that beat the Bulls 28-13, in last weekend’s qualifier match will get another chance to prove they are finals quality this Friday. Only one change has been made to the team, who notch up their 14th semi-final place, face the Chiefs in Hamilton.

Ben Franks will start in the number three jersey this week and brother, Owen, will rotate to the bench.

The seven-times champions will be without Kieran Read, who sustained a rib injury last time the Crusaders played the Chiefs, means captain Richie McCaw will again play at number eight and Matt Todd at seven.

The Crusaders have had a loss and a win to the Chiefs in the regular season this year.  The winner of this game will progress to the final, against either the Stormers or the Sharks.
