The latest awards for April are due out and here they are.
Player of the month goes to Schalk Brits.
He is such a talented player, very quick on foot, great tackling and good at throwing in. Just what you want in a hooker! He has been so impressive over the past few games and a player everyone would love to have on their team. Team of the month HAS to go to Saracens. For a team who in the past five rounds have scored the same amount of tries as they have done in all the previous rounds put together is a pretty good achievement! The law change a few weeks ago has had such a huge impact on their play! Who would have thought that?

Coach of the Year has to go to Neil Back. What an achievement, bookies favourite to go down at the beginning of the season but pulled out a huge result at London Irish and at home to Worcester to stay in the division. Neil said staying up with Leeds is much bigger to him than winning the World Cup with England. Such a big achievement for him so well done!

There are some moments of the month; Sarries latest match and Wasps match at Twickenham. It is great seeing so many people watching the game we love; I hope one day all clubs go to big stadiums for a game. Also, my commiserations go to Worcester for being relegated. It never is nice to see a club be relegated and they will soon bounce back up! There were big developments at Edgeley Park with Robbo going and Mike Brewer being put in charge. All so far are good and what he said excites me so let’s hope it’s the sign of things to come! Until next month where I will do my awards for the season!
