This guide features details of all 63 European Rugby Champions Cup fixtures for this season.
Northampton Saints pulled off a sensational 37-34 semi-final win over Leinster to book their place in the Investec Champions Cup final on Saturday 24 May.
A first-half hat-trick by Tommy Freeman, and other tries by Henry Pollock and James Ramm, proved the basis of Saints’ stunning victory in the Aviva Stadium. They are the first English side to reach the final since Exeter Chiefs in 2020.
Awaiting them at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium will be first-time finalists Bordeaux-Bègles, who defeated the defending champions Toulouse 35-18.
The 2024-25 Champions Cup featured four pools of six – eight teams each from the Premiership, URC and Top 14. The top four in each pool qualified for the knockout stage. The four fifth-ranked teams – Bath, Racing, Sharks and Bulls – dropped to the Challenge Cup.
The 2026 finals weekend will be hosted by Bilbao in the heart of the Basque country at the San Mamés Stadium. And Lyon in France has been awarded the privilege in 2027.
