Sam Larner

Sam has written for Rugby World since 2019. He has spent the past eleven years working in rugby, first as an analyst for Blackheath. Since then he has provided analysis to multiple clubs in the UK and abroad and has also coached at Youth and Senior levels. He began writing a barely read cycling blog in 2012 and since then has written for Rouleur, Cyclist, The Rugby Blog, Planet Rugby, and the Rugby World Cup website. Sam has played rugby since the age of six, starting with rugby league before moving to union shortly after.
