Steve Borthwick selects a mix of experience and youth for this year’s tournament

The England Six Nations 2026 squad kicks off its championship campaign against Wales at Twickenham on Saturday 7 February.

Head coach Steve Borthwick heads into the tournament in an enviable position, on the back of a 11-game winning run and with one of the deepest player pools in world rugby to pick from.

Most of the faces in the 36-man squad are familiar, but there are places for the uncapped trio of Greg Fisilau (Exeter Chiefs), Vilikesa Sela (Bath Rugby) and Emmanuel Iyogun (Northampton Saints).

There are a few injury concerns, however, particularly in the front row where long-term injuries to Asher Opoku-Fordjour and Will Stuart mean England are a little light in the tighthead department. Fin Baxter, Ben Curry, Ollie Lawrence, Tom Roebuck and Fin Smith are all close to fitness, and have travelled to the team’s training camp in Girona, Spain as part of their rehabilitation from injury lay-offs.

This England Six Nations squad page will be updated with team news for every England match in this year’s tournament. You can also look back at the line-ups for the team’s Six Nations fixtures last season.
