Last weekend the All Blacks climbed to the top of the world rankings for the first time since 2021, a result of both South Africa’s shock defeat to Australia and their own victory over the Pumas in Córdoba. That 41-24 bonus point win gave them the ideal start in a competition they’ve already claimed 20 times. Can they build on that momentum in this follow-up fixture in Buenos Aires?
Unsurprisingly, head coach Scott Robertson has stuck with most of the starting line-up from last weekend. The only change comes in the back row, where debutant Simon Parker replaces Du’Plessis Kirifi. With Parker wearing the number 8 shirt, vice-captain Ardie Savea shifts to the openside. Experienced hooker Codie Taylor wins his 100th cap for the All Blacks, while Tamaiti Williams (prop) and Wallace Sititi (back row) are on the bench having recovered from injuries.
Argentina, meanwhile, are still waiting for their season to get into gear, despite that promising win over the British & Irish Lions in Dublin back in June. Since then, their only victory has come against Uruguay, so they’ll be desperate to give their home fans something to cheer – albeit against a side they’ve only beaten three times in their history.
Pumas head coach Felipe Contepomi has made minimal changes to the line-up that lost last weekend. Up front Juan Martin Gonzalez comes into the starting XV, replacing Marcos Kremer who drops to the bench. And in the backs, Mateo Carreras comes into the team on the wing, with Rodrigo Isgro left out of the matchday squad.
This in-depth guide explains where to find live streams and TV channels for this weekend’s game wherever you are in the world – as well as details of how you can use a VPN to follow the action if you’re away from home. Scroll down for the line-ups and officials.

Going to be overseas on Saturday? That doesn’t mean you have to miss out on the final Rugby Championship clash of the weekend.
Thanks to the wonders of a VPN (or Virtual Private Network), you can avoid the geo-restrictions that might prevent you watching your usual streaming services as you would back home. This isn’t magic, simply the result of a VPN’s ability to change your IP address, making your smartphone, tablet or laptop appear to be in any country in the world. Another benefit of VPNs is improving your internet security, which has to be a good thing.
The tech experts at TechRadar test hundreds of VPNs, and right now they reckon NordVPN is the one worth shouting about.
