Three rounds of the 2026 Women’s Six Nations fixtures are done – and England and France are striding out in front.
The Red Roses bagged ten tries in a 62-24 win over Wales at Ashton Gate, a result that brought them the Triple Crown. The visitors left with a bonus point after scoring four tries against the reigning European and world champions.
France, second on points difference, were given a fierce examination by Ireland in Clermont but ran out 26-7 victors. And Italy recorded their first win of this year’s championship after blowing away Scotland 41-14 in Parma.
The championship resumes on Saturday 9 May when England go to Parma, Scotland host France in Edinburgh, and Ireland and Wales square off in Belfast.
The 2026 Women’s Six Nations fixtures see some major changes. Significantly, the three weekend fixtures for each of the five rounds will be played back-to-back on the same day.
The fifth and final round will conclude with a ‘Super Sunday’ rather than a Super Saturday.
Ireland will play their round-five match against Scotland at Aviva Stadium – the first standalone Women’s Six Nations game staged at the Dublin venue.
As part of a new global calendar, the Women’s Six Nations fixtures started three weeks later than in 2025. They will end on 17 May instead of having the traditional April finish.
